I worked as a computer consultant for over 30 years. Then I made radical lifestyle changes and began a new career in education as a college lecturer in information technology. I have a BA degree from the Open University, a post graduate certificate in Education and a MSc (E-learning, Multimedia and Consultancy) from Sheffield Hallam University.

I have successfully completed a FdSc in Canine Behaviour and Training in 2012 and a Msc in Applied Animal Behaviour and Training in 2016. These courses were studied at Bishop Burton College and the degrees awarded by University of Hull.

I am a ADTB (Academy of Dog Training and Behaviour) 'Approved Instructor', the The Pet Professional Guild fully endorsing the guilds guiding principles
and the Kennel Club Accredited Instructor (K.C.A.I) scheme - working towards accreditation.

Pat is qualified to microchip domestic pet animals after completing a Pet-Detect course.
